Visitation and Monitoring of MBKM BKP Internship at PT Tunas Agro Persada Runs Smoothly

Boyolali, 26 May 2025 — The monitoring of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) internship program in the Agricultural Expertise Field (BKP) at PT Tunas Agro Persada went well, with no significant problems. The activity, which took place on Monday (26/5), aimed to evaluate and ensure the smooth running of the internships of students from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada, at the company located in Brajan, Mojosongo, Boyolali.

The meeting was attended by a company representative, Mirfan Chandra, the UGM supervising lecturer for the MBKM program, Ir. Supriyanta, M.P., and five internship students: Herliza Berlianti; Medhar Aji Asta Brata; Faiq Dzakwan Alhafidz; Devi Zidna Maghfiroh; and Jafni Rafantyo Masidi. In the discussion, all parties expressed that the internship at PT Tunas Agro Persada was running well without major issues. The students are receiving adequate facilities and intensive guidance from the company, enabling effective on-site learning.

PT Tunas Agro Persada received strong recommendations to remain a partner for future internships. The supervising lecturer also expressed appreciation for the company’s support and offered apologies for any shortcomings during the implementation of the program.

This activity aligns with efforts to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Through this internship, students gain practical skills that strengthen their competitiveness and readiness for the workforce in a sustainable manner.
