Department of Agronomy Graduates 18 Students in Yudisium Period January-II 2025

Yogyakarta, 31 January 2025 — The Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada held its Yudisium for the January-II 2025 period. A total of 18 students were declared graduates: 11 undergraduate (S1) students in Agronomy, 6 master’s students (Magister Agronomi), and 1 master’s student in Plant Breeding (Magister Pemuliaan Tanaman). The ceremony took place in the Multimedia Room, Building A2a, 1st Floor, Faculty of Agriculture UGM. The event was attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture, the Chair and Secretary, and the lecturers of the Department of Agronomy.

Valentina Dwi Suci Handayani, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., representing the faculty staff of the Department of Agronomy, offered her congratulations on the achievement of both undergraduate and master’s level students. She expressed her hope that what has been learned at the Faculty of Agriculture, UGM, will serve as a good foundation for achieving their future goals. She also encouraged that the good qualities acquired be continued, while things that are lacking be improved.

As closing remarks, Valentina reminded everyone that Gadjah Mada is always connected not only to its students but also to its alumni.

Nur Eko Prasetyo, speaking on behalf of the students, expressed his gratitude for being able to complete his study well. He said his success could not have happened without the continuous support of his family, which made everything beautiful. He added that what he experienced during his time studying would serve as preparation for facing more complex challenges in the future.

In closing, Nur expressed his thanks to the lecturers who have mentored him, and he also congratulated his fellow students, both at the undergraduate and master’s levels, hoping that they can serve the country.

This yudisium underscores the commitment of the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture UGM, to improving human resource quality and the standard of education in alignment with SDG 4: Quality Education.
